LIFE ELIA takes part in Nature Film Festival in Namur
Posters, animation and oral presentation of the LIFE ELIA at Nature Film Festival in Namur
Unmissable event for lovers of nature and movies, the Nature Film Festival of Namur (http://www.festivalnaturenamur.be/ ) was held from 12 to 21 October 2012.
It is no less than 12,300 people who participated in the various projections and exhibitions visits during those ten days devoted to the illustration of biodiversity.
The LIFE ELIA project was widely highlighted all along this Festival.
Firstly, at a stand, created by the LIFE team, open during the 10-days Festival and, through various posters, summarizing the various restoration, education and training actions, but also through a video screen transmitting in loop the animation (recently with sound) as introduction to the project.
Then this animation with sound was also projected on a large screen during two gala evenings (1,300 participants) and before each of the 20 screenings (twice a day) in a cinéma hall with a capacity of 380 people.
Presentation of the project, commented live on stage, could also be achieved by the LIFE team or by the Festival organizers, before the start of the projection opening session (October 12: 400 spectators), the evening of amateur films (October 13, 900 spectators) and the evening of professional films (October 20, 400 spectators).
Unique opportunity to mingle, in the same enclosure, high aesthetic emotion movies on nature to a concrete project of natural habitats restoration.
