Stakeholders' day by ELIA
ELIA (Belgian Transport System Operator) has invited on November 22nd 2013 its various partners to a « get together » day. Politicians, members of administration, regulatory commission, customers, staff members were invited to broach a range of topics related to the Energy policy.
The involvement of ELIA, as sponsor of the LIFE project co-financed the European Commission, was illustrated in a video presentation showing the challenges of this project : boosting biodiversity along the high-voltage lines.
Why such a company is interested in this type of project usually led by environmentalist NGOs? Which added value can feed ELIA in its core business ? What are the benefits can ELIA expect for biodiversity but also for the company? How this type of project can modify behaviors within the company ? ... All these issues were raised during this interesting day!
